Release v2.9.20250826.1

IT Support

We’re thrilled to share the latest updates to the Sanusom Platform! This release focuses on enhancing patient management workflows, strengthening process controls, and improving overall usability. From new status options and automation features to expanded scheduling capabilities and detailed audit tracking, these enhancements are designed to boost efficiency, reduce manual effort, and provide greater visibility across the system.

What’s New

Status Additions

  • What’s Changing: Added three new patient statuses (Setup, Setup-Complete, and Setup-Incomplete). These statuses enforce alignment between patient status and service type (Setup or Compliance) to prevent incompatible combinations.
  • Why It Matters: This change ensures accurate patient categorization, reduces data conflicts, and improves overall workflow consistency for patient setup and compliance tracking.

Setup Incomplete Workflow

  • What’s Changing: Added the ability to move patients from Setup-Incomplete back to Setup when needed. This supports scenarios where patients were initially unreachable and later decide to proceed with setup.
  • Why It Matters: This flexibility eliminates the need for manual workarounds and ensures accurate status tracking throughout the patient setup process.

Compliance Duration Automation

  • What’s Changing: Added an automated check for patient compliance service duration at 90 or 180 days, based on the patient’s configuration. When the threshold is reached, a task is added to the patient’s To-Do list to prompt review.
  • Why It Matters: This ensures timely follow-up for patients approaching compliance duration limits, reducing the chance of oversight and improving patient management efficiency.

Compliance Override Restrictions

  • What’s Changing: Restricted patient compliance override functionality to admin level users only.
  • Why It Matters: This improves control and accountability by ensuring that only authorized users can modify compliance data.

RN category additions

  • What’s Changing: Expanded RN category access to allow viewing, scheduling, and assignment to Setup Appointments. Additionally, RN users can now de-escalate appointments when appropriate.
  • Why It Matters: These changes improve workflow flexibility and reduce bottlenecks by empowering RN staff to manage setup appointments and address escalations efficiently.

Follow Up Appointment Entry

  • What’s Changing: The Follow-Up Appointment card is now read-only for date text entry and requires using the date picker to select a date.
  • Why It Matters: This prevents manual entry errors and reduces invalid entries in the Interaction Log, improving data accuracy.

Follow Up Appointment Tracking

  • What’s Changing: Added tracking of Follow-Up Appointment changes in the Interaction Log, including additions, updates, and removals.
  • Why It Matters: This enhances transparency and provides a detailed audit trail, making it easier to review historical changes and maintain accurate patient records.

Follow Up Appointment Autocreation

  • What’s Changing: Introduced automatic creation of the first follow-up appointment for organizations that have this feature configured.
  • Why It Matters: This reduces manual scheduling effort, ensures consistency, and helps organizations maintain timely follow-ups without extra administrative work.

Brightree Notes Signatures

  • What’s Changing: Brightree notes now include the name of the user who created the note as a signature.
  • Why It Matters: This provides clear attribution for each note, improving accountability and supporting compliance with documentation standards.

Bulk Follow Up Appointment Management

  • What’s Changing: Added bulk management capabilities for Follow-Up Appointments, allowing admin users to update multiple appointments at once.
  • Why It Matters: This streamlines scheduling workflows, reduces manual effort, and saves time when managing high volumes of follow-up appointments.

Compliance Met Display Field

  • What’s Changing: The Compliance Date on the Patient Information page will now only display when the patient is flagged as Compliance Met.
  • Why It Matters: This prevents confusion by ensuring the compliance date is only shown when the patient has actually met compliance.

This release reinforces our commitment to delivering a secure, intuitive, and efficient platform for our users. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve and innovate.
